Terms and Enrolment Conditions

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply when you use this website or enrol in a Tax Academy Australia course. By enrolling, you agree to them.

Enrolment and your account

You need an account to enrol. Please give accurate details and keep your login secure. Your enrolment is for your personal use only and must not be shared with anyone else.

Fees and payment

Course fees are shown on each course page in Australian dollars and are payable at checkout. Your enrolment starts once payment has been received.

Course access

Once enrolled, you can access your course through your student dashboard for the period stated on the course page. We may update course content to reflect changes in tax law, ATO guidance or our teaching.

Assessment and certificate

Courses include quizzes after each set of modules, a final assessment and a case study. You must complete your assessments yourself. If you pass the final assessment, you can download a TAA Certificate of Completion.

The TAA Certificate of Completion recognises that you have completed a Tax Academy Australia course. It is not a nationally recognised qualification and does not, on its own, meet Tax Practitioners Board registration requirements.

On-the-job training

Graduates who pass the final assessment can apply for on-the-job training. Places are limited and subject to application. Completing a course does not guarantee a place, a job or any particular outcome.

Course materials

All course content, including lessons, notes, checklists, templates, quizzes and case studies, is owned by or licensed to Tax Academy Australia. You may use it for your own learning. You must not copy, share, sell or publish it without our written permission.

General information only

Course content is general education. It is not tax, legal or financial advice for any particular person or situation. See our Disclaimer.

Conduct

We may suspend or cancel access if you share your account, copy course materials, submit work that is not your own or misuse the website.

Refunds and your consumer rights

Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Privacy

We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you enrol applies to your enrolment.
